The material for theses shoes is serious handcraft. The way the green stripes are applied on the leather is a beautiful handling. Sheet for sheet the leather in the tannery in Italy is placed on a table. Subsequently a lady lets green coating material drop from a brush, while she is drawings lovely circles on the sheet of leather. Very accurate work that she, depending on the orders, is sometimes doing the whole day. The green coating material is the same material that is used for the real patent leather. Authentic Italian handcraft work for a real Dutch shoe!
