Product details

This boot has a supple honey-coloured one-piece sole. The edge of the sole is made from vegetable-tanned leather. The outsole has a summery non-slip profile. The suede comes from a small and highly specialized suede tannery in Santa Croce Sull’Arno in the Italian province of Pisa. After the initial tanning process, the cognac-coloured suede received an additional treatment with oils in the tanning drum. This process gives the suede a beautiful nap and rich appeal. The boot is lined with top-quality calf leather and sports a removable comfortable footbed.

"The sole of this shoe has been on my wish list for a very long time. I just never got the rest of the design team on board. They always looked at me funny when I brought up my super flat sole again. But tenacity pays off! And I’m very happy with it. The shoe nicely ranges somewhere between smart and casual. Perfect for summer. The sole is flat, but the inside is finished with a nice and thick footbed, which will make you feel as if you’re walking on clouds. To finish this text, I googled for quotes on 'simplicity', but the only good one I came across was by Leonardo da Vinci and that seemed a bit too pretentious. So, I'll stick to a quote from my father, who worked in our company all his life: "That's a nice shoe, son!"
