Product details

This is a featherweight summer boot. The sole is made of lightweight EVA material which is finished with a luxurious leather border that runs all the way around the shoe. The colour of the leather border is also featured in the leather label featuring an F logo stitched onto the side. The heel has a textile strap with a small, F-shaped pattern. The boot is made of oiled suede from a specialised Tuscan tannery. Inside, the shoe is finished with premium calf leather, a leather insole and a non-removable footbed made of comfortable ergonomic foam.

For men’s shoes, Floris van Bommel uses the English (UK) shoe size system in whole and half sizes (5 to 13½). This allows for a very accurate fitting range. The two tables below show how the UK sizes relate to EU sizes and centimetres. In the video, we show you how to measure your feet correctly.

I dare say that this makes it a heavyweight among lightweights. Because it really is very, very light. I’m afraid I've lost the thread now, but better here in this text than while making shoes. HA! The light sole has an edge made of sturdy saddle leather. And that's what it's all about: the combination of a sporty, lightweight sole with a stylish leather trim. That’s what makes this shoe a great casual summer shoe for those easy moments, floating somewhere between smart and casual.“
