This sturdy, mid-high lace boot has a strip of vintage Italian leather along the edge of the sole. During the tanning process, the suede has been treated with a number of additional natural oils. The result is a slightly oily appearance, giving the boot a rich and sporty touch. The forefoot has a mirror finish, applied by means of a tension seam. The boot is lined with premium calf leather all the way to the toes. The lacing comes with two hooks at the top, which allows for an easy on and off.

“One of the great things of our company is that the design department is not run by the commercial department. As a result, the designers don’t get endless sales instructions at the beginning of the design season. We’re a creative group, managed by a creative director who likes a bit of experimentation and going off the beaten track. This shoe is a direct result of that. It’s a fairly robust boot with a vintage leather edge around the sole and a gorgeous, full last. We as designers know that casual boots with a slightly more ‘indoor’ look appeal to a much broader audience. Nonetheless, we worked very hard on this boot to detail it as perfectly as possible. Our challenge is seeing it through all the rounds of selection and having it end up in the final collection. And now, without further ado, here it is! A shoe that we as the design department fought fiercely for, a treat for those who love wintery and rugged boots.”
