It’s more of a collabrador than a collaboration: Floris van Bommel and dog food brand Bravoer are launching a dog treat. The treats not only come in the shape of tiny Floris van Bommel shoes, but taste like them too! Floris’s dog Flapper served as a test lab, taste tester, flavour developer and consumer panel all rolled into one. According to him, this mix of chicken, beef and lamb treats has just the right woody flavour of a sturdy, vegetable-tanned outsole. The bite is more like that of a supple suede sneaker: firm but not tough. Floris: “I don’t say this often, but these shoe-flavoured dog treats taste better than our own shoes.” The dog treats are free from fragrances and flavourings and are not intended for human consumption.
