"This sole is a total work of art. The difference in colour on the front and back is old fashioned craftsmanship from our sole factory. A piece of white rubber is put in the front part of the iron sole mould, and a blue piece in the back. That rubber also has a marbled look: white rubber mixed with a tiny bit of blue rubber. For the blue rubber in the back, it's the other way around. This marble effect is simply old school craftsmanship as well. In the sole factory they have large hunks of white rubber in solid form, where they carefully mix in some blue rubber by hand. It looks similar to how a pizza chef kneads his dough by hand. If they mix it in too much the sole will turn light blue, if they mix it too little you will get large blue splotches in just a few spots. The rubber is put into the iron sole mould in solid form. It melts in there, and takes the shape of the sole. Otherwise this is just a fantastic, sporty shoe that you can wear pretty much everywhere."
