Floris: “In 2016, TV host Lauren Verster was the focal point of two of our women's shoes campaigns. We had just completely overhauled the women's collection by adding new designers and fabricators, opening new showrooms and hired new people whose sole focus would be the women's collection. So inadvertently, Lauren became the figurehead of our revamped women's department.
Our company is mostly known for the men's shoes, but we've been making women's models for over 100 years as well. In our museum, you'll find gorgeous Van Bommel pumps from the 1920s. Therefore, a women's collection is an integral part of our organisation. Since 2016 it has grown significantly, and I dare say that Dutch and Belgian shoe stores wouldn't be the same without it. The campaign with Lauren represented the launch of this new adventure."
