De Flapr dog leash
Floris: "As a puppy, my dog Flapper used to bite one leash after another into pieces. I thought I was being smart by buying a leash with an iron chain. The chain stayed intact, but the leather handle was also bitten into pieces in no time. I found a carabiner in my kitchen drawer which I used as a makeshift handle. I soon discovered that thanks to the hook at the end of the leash, I could tie Flapper very easily to a chair or table leg. Click-clack-attached, without the hassle it normally takes. We made some designs in our factory, put our buckle supplier to work for the carabiner, had our leather bag manufacturer assemble the strap, et voilà: De Flapr!"

Flapper’s bio
Flapper’s days are filled with naps she takes in one of the 5 baskets scattered around the shoe factory. Highlight of the day: the mail round! She happily rides along in the mail cart, collecting her day's pay of cuddles and snacks all over the company.
Flapper snores fairly loudly and has a ‘figure it out for yourself’ attitude which means she always responds to commands with a 5-second delay. At dog school De Wolf, where Flapper does agility, she only jumps over obstacles when her owner brings small chunks of cheese for her.

“Floris: “Ideally, I would have invented a new meta-matter or – after giving it some thought – I would suddenly be the first to understand what dark matter is. But instead, I invented a handy dog leash. Also cool.“”
