Cross-section Moccasin construction

The upper material (1) is stretched around the last and is sewn together on top of the shoe, with a hand stitch. A strengthening shank (cambreur) (3) is placed on the inside of the upper. A sole (the sole in between) (4) is glued to the upper material (1), after which the last is extracted from the shoe. The sole in between (4) is sewn to the upper material (1) from the inside, with an inner stitch (2). The outersole (5) is being attached to the sole in between (4) with glue. There is also a possibility to sew the inner stitch (2) through the outersole (5), as wel as the upper material (1) and the sole in between (4).
