Goodyear: The double stitched shoe

The upper material (1) is pulled on the last. A horizontal stitch (welt) (7) attaches the sole edge (2), the upper material (1) and the bridge (3) (which is attached to the innersole) to eachother. Kork (4) is placed under the innersole to fill up the gap created by the bridge (3). The outersole (5) is placed under the shoe by a vertical stitch (6) through the outersole (5) and the sole edge (2).
