A small proportion of our shoes is still assembled at our own factory in Moergestel, the Netherlands. The stitching work for these shoes is carried out abroad. Samples and small trial runs are also stitched in Moergestel, and repairs are performed there. The remainder of our shoe production takes place in factories in Portugal, Spain, China and Turkey.

Van Bommel maintains close contact with the factories where its shoes are produced. Agreements cover, among other things, production methods, product quality and cooperation. Depending on the location and how the relationship is organised, production sites are visited by Van Bommel employees or intermediaries.
